Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cost to attend Sunrise Beach School?

Our tuition is competitive amongst our private education peer-schools, and is brought down by fundraising, gifts, and financial stewardship. Tuition costs vary slightly, depending on payment methods, sibling-discounts, and grade level (lower costs in Pre-K, and increasing rates as curriculum and requirements become more rigorous in High School). Annual costs are between seven and nine thousand dollars per year, per student.

Is financial aide available?

Yes, and we’d be thrilled to discuss this with you! We strive to bring an affordable tuition rate to all. Financial Assistance, including flexible payment plans, scholarships, and other options are available. Don’t let finances hold your student back from a phenomenal education experience. Instead, Apply, and allow our Admissions team to work with your family’s needs.

When should I start the application process?

Admission consideration starts the first of March, annually. Availability is open until filled. Please Apply for more information.

What is the average class size?

Sunrise Beach School has an approximately 8/1 student/teacher ratio. Most classes have 10 or less students.

What are the school day hours?

School starts at 9:00 am and dismisses at 3:30 pm.

We follow the Olympia School District’s weather and safety closures, and defer to their schedule regarding snow or other safety related closures.

Is there a before and after-school program available?

Yes! Students may enroll for this at the time of application. It’s flexible, and drop in. For example, if a student only needs to arrive early several times per month, but these days are undetermined, this is fine. After Care encourages homework completion as well as play. A small cost is associated with After Care, based on the time used.
