Harvest Parties – All School
Happy fall!
Literally everyone at Sunrise is looking forward to our Harvest Parties on Tuesday, October 31st!
Parents are invited to come join our Harvest Party festivities also! 😊
Bring a Dish:
Our ASB President, Eliana Egrubay will be encouraging MS and HS students to sign up to bring a lunch dish for this day to share during their time in the gym 11:30 – 12:30 pm.
Elementary teachers will be contacting parents about their plans for the day also.
- Grades PK-3 = 12:30 – 1:00 PE/Gym Time
- Grades 4-6 = 1:00 – 1:30 PE/Gym Time
- Grades 6-12 = 11:30 – 12:30 Lunch/PE/Gym Time
(With scheduled elementary classroom party times as well).
Games!
We have ordered a new, soft “cotton” 60 ft official tug-of-war rope for the times students will be playing in the gymnasium along with new three-legged race bands, “sacks” to navigate a sack-race, and much more!
We will be capturing MANY photos this day of all the fun, imaginative, adorable costumes of our students, Grades PK-12!
Christian costume reminders and suggestions at Sunrise Beach School/SBHS:
- We trust you’ll enjoy creating beautiful, fun costumes with your children!
- Please also work to keep the students’ costumes … joyful and honoring to our dear Lord.
- Thus, we request that you please avoid costumes representing dark characters or ideas such as but not limited to:
witches, goblins, skeletons, frightening costumes, blood, demons, evil, devils, death, and darkness.
