A few facts about our faculty members:
Accredited: From Pre K through 12th grade, Sunrise Beach employs faculty members who are Certified Teachers (State and Nationally Certified). This includes teachers with a variety of certification levels, including the following:
- National Board Certification
- Professional Teacher Certificate: National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS)
- Residency Certificate
- Other speciality Professional Teaching Certificates, depending on the subject mater expert.
Advanced Degrees: All full-time faculty who lead classrooms, from Grade 1 – Grade 12 hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Many of these teachers hold advanced degrees, including PhD, Masters, and doctoral-level.
On-Site: We instruct through fully in-classroom, on-site teaching. We find this to be the most enriching environment. All classes take place in person. Our staff and faculty are 100% in-person. Advanced expert guest teachers are usually in person, and some may drop in via video conference to add value to the classroom.
