1. Emergency Preparedness & Response
Documents & Information:
• Emergency Operations Plan (EOP): Overview of school-wide emergency preparedness and response procedures.
• Reunification Plan: Step-by-step guide for safely reuniting students with their families in an emergency.
• Evacuation & Shelter-in-Place Procedures: Instructions for fire drills, lockdowns, severe weather, and other emergency situations.
• Emergency Contact Information and Crisis Communication Plans: Key school and emergency service numbers for quick access. This plan explains how the school will communicate with parents during emergencies (phone, text, email, website updates).

• Campus Security Cameras: SBS uses door cameras, and cameras thought out the premises, inlaying security visibility throughout the school. Video footage is retained for 30 days.

• Bullying & Harassment Prevention: Sunrise Beach follows WA State OSPI’s Guidelines and School policies on reporting and addressing bullying, cyberbullying, and harassment. This includes utilizing processes OSPI has put in place for public and private schools (optionally, for private) in the state of Washington to follow. One of the key elements of this plan is the use of a Harassment, Intimidation or Bullying – Targeted Student Safety Plan. This plan creates a process by which the harassed student is recognized and safety is planned for.
